i wasnt about to put the ford blue under the hood of my black car!

I think the blue looks best on black. I tried endlessly to paint and alway came out crappy. Just got the blue ones.

 

i cleaned the covers with a brush and bleach white.
i then taped around the outside of the block letters and covered everything else up. Spray painted and then wiped over the high spots with a paper towel and repeated.
I then untaped and used paint thinner to remove the extra that was left..

 

Nice, I currently have red ones installed that I painted. Wanted to do black in the grooves. I actually put tape in the stripes on it but forgot to pull the tape off LOL.

This is what I have done under the hood so far. The pics do not include the new chrome hood struts I just installed yesterday.
