I heard back from Stage3 earlier today and they're just waiting for Roush to ok a replacement. What I find odd is they never asked to see pics.
Stage3 has always given me excellent service with no problems so far. And probably has had customers with the same problems I deal with John at stage3. The mufflers do sound sick especially with full exhaust! hope I don't run into this problem!

Update:

"Roush will be sending you new mufflers out today."

That's the last email I received from Bill @ Stage3 a few minutes ago. That's some really good news!

So the mufflers are coming straight from Roush not stage 3? Very nice. I have to put my call into BOI I have to find my receipt first I know I have it.

Congrats!

Good luck. They told me to send mine in so they can inspect them first before I get a replacement set

Yup straight from Roush. They're sending just replacement mufflers and I re-use my tips. I'm super pleased with Stage 3 and how they handled the whole thing.

I just contacted American Muscle to see if they can be of any help with my warranty claim. There is some rusting on the welds and if I press on it it will surely break thru. They are nothing short of amazing with customer service so hopefully I'm in good hands.

I'm sure they'll take care of you. I've had 2 issues with parts that came damaged from them and they were super fast at resolving it. Their customer service is truly top notch!

I hope they do the right thing for you. I have to put my call into BOI this weekend to see if they can do anything for me.

American Muscle was surprisingly no help in the issue. They referred to me Roush which I already contacted last week and was told to take them to an authorized Roush dealer. I dont think I have any nearby and the car isn't moving this time of year. Looks like I'm SOL.

Pm AMChrisRose about it. I got the same run around at first from Roush and Stage 3.

Will do. I emailed AM back and explained that Roush is really of no help. Explained how other people with this issue got Roush to cover it if the retailer contacted them. AM said again, contact Roush, they want to know about all problems and get a name of who you spoke to. So I'm off to contact them, again.

Hytek, what email were you using to conntact Roush?

I emailed straight from Roush's website under the contact us section. There's a place to fill out info and submit directly from there.

http://www.roushperformance.com/help/contact.html

But the email they replied back from is: rppcustomerservice@roush.com and that's the email that told me to contact my dealer/retailer. That's when I replied back to Stage 3 and they took over.

I was expecting more of a hassle but it's apparent that they've encountered this issue before. I'm sure Chris Rose will help you out. Let me know what he says.

What are you doing with your current axle back?! Maybe get a shop to weld it quick and sell em.

Wouldn't be a bad idea just they're only sending replacement mufflers. Someone would have to buy the tips from Roush which are $70 each. I was thinking about putting one on my jeep lol.

I just looked at my roush's today, I did buy them used from a member on this forum, but there was water dripping from the back weld on the passenger side muffler and it looks like its starting to rust =[.

Sorry to jump in this thread so late, but what seems to be the "short story" on what everyone with this problem is doing?

The rust maybe be "normal", I'd just clean it up and little and throw a good polish on there.

As long as there's no rot or breaks thru the metal.

In short, contact Roush and also contact the retailer they were purchased at. Maybe the previous owner can give you that info and an original receipt/packing slip.
