I wouldn't think one that small should hurt it either.

fill your old muffs up with water and drill a small hole- see if they drain

Great idea but I don't think Roush would be happy with more holes in them. Besides they've already been boxed and shipped back.

Yeah I know. When I went to bring the box to ups the floor was wet under it like it pee'd itself.

Now we need to figure out where to drill the holes to get the water out most effectively.

That's a good idea for one of us that havent sent them back to Roush yet. We could email them and tell them one muffler had a ton of water in it so we are drilling the other to test to see where to make a hole to get the most water out.
Basically doing their job for them. Roush should be doing tests on them and telling us how to avoid this issue again. BUT instead they are claiming its rust from the outside weather.

Lol. With newspaper packed around it, so incase it leaks out they get a wad of wet newspapers and wet cardboard.

Hopefully they fix the problem soon with a revised design. I will call when I get home to speak too someone about this. Maybe it will jump start them if enough of us call in about if they are going to revise the design. Can't hurt

I love these. I still drilled a 1/8 drain hole in the bottom center near the inlet. Sound will change with water.
