I'm still debating... Haven't put it on yet. I like how it's subtle tho, and not over the top. I don't think on the hood would be good, like some folks suggested. It ruins the smooth lines of the hood. But beneath the emblems, there's already the 5.0 emblems there...

Drove to work today in about 50 degree weather. I always knew cold air made a difference, but on an FId engine? Wow. It felt substantially different driving to work at 50 degrees and driving home at 75 degrees (big temp swings in fall in Iowa). It was like a natural smaller pulley and tune lol... Love this car.

That looks really sharp man. I say go for it. You can always take it off later. You're right about the color being perfect.

Thanks Thomas! How are you liking the airraid? I need pics of it installed!

I got the install of the emblems done. I really like it. And yes, as you stated, it's not permanent. With a fishing line and a heat gun, I'll have that off in less than 5 minutes lol.

What you think? Pics attached.

The only place I'd put it is on the rear deck panel, then you will let the guy who's doors you just blew off know what happened...

Hehe.... Yeah Gary suggested that too. I held it there to check and I didn't think it fit well . Oh well. It's done for now, and I love it!!!

That looks perfect! I haven't installed the Airraid yet. Going to wait until after I go to the dealership.

Anytime roger.. Thank you. I love this forum and anytime I can contribute, I will. And yes tires and rims are next. So much for being "done" with mods.

So are you going to post the swag the Magnuson is sending you after you get it?

I think that looks pretty good. The emblems aren't much longer than the 5.0 emblems.

Just keep checking svtp and tms for ones used. I picked my boss strut bar up for 100 shipped. The steeda bar fits as well I'm pretty sure. Just have to double check. They're like 150 shipped new. If it fits over the boss manifold, it will fit over the magnuson.

Here's a couple of pictures of the STB. The Roush decal was on I when I purchased it.
I'm still debating on keeping the decal on or not, it does add a little color.

Z,

I'm off the forums for a bit and you go and make your car even more awesome that it already was. I like what you did. Someday I will do the same. Congrats! Love it.

Hmmm not sure if I am feeling that strut bar design. So that's a 09 gt500 bar? From what storm trooper said, a steeda bar and a boss 302 strut bar fits as well?

Steve where you been buddy? Long time no see! Yeah I kinda went nuts on it lol. Wifey gave me permission to get it, so I jumped on the opportunity lol.
