Thanks guys.... Yeah, I think my engineering side of me is coming out with my documentation lol... Sorry

But yes, I hope my thread was able to help some future sc buyer in letting them know that if someone like me could do the install, they could too.

I'm glad to see you got it done. No other feeling like a supercharged V8. Really great to hear how excited you are about the charger.

It's blistering... I thought the difference between stock would be noticeable but not that staggering. I was wrong. It's crazy.

what's up man??? I remember you and I getting our Kona's roughly the same time 2 years ago. How time flies. Funny how we can look back at how stock she was... compared to now. I need to do a "then" and "now" thread, of how my car has evolved.

You still enjoying your beast? Blower in the works???

totally loving this thread, the only downside is if I were to put a blower on my car, it's gotta be a screamer. As in a loud roots whine. That's what I loved the most about my old GTP. tons of SC whine.

Thanks Diva... you're right, I was surprised at how "quiet" the blower was. I remember reading threads about how loud the magnuson blowers were. I was expecting a screaming. But I can barely hear it over my Borlas. I guess one could say it's definitely a "sleeper". "There goes another 5.0...."

Now that I look back at that video, you're right... it happens/happened so fast I didn't even notice it. She definitely pulls wayyyyy harder than stock. The instantaneous throttle response is very addicting. I am averaging 13.5 mpg I think... lol.

On my 3rd day of supercharger ownership... I am really loving this thing. It's delivery is very smooth and linear. Driven conservatively, except for a more responsive throttle (due to new tune), one would not notice there was a blower. It's very calm on the street in that regard. Mash the throttle though, and it's a whole 'nother story. The instant torque is quite gratifying. I can't get it enough.

Also, maybe I'm just hearing things, but I could have sworn, my Borlas seem to have gotten louder. Why is that??? more air? hmmmm

The attention that this car now gets is borderline ridiculous. After friends/co-workers got wind of the mod, during lunch 4 of us went outside to check it out. 10 minutes later, there were 10 people there... each wanted a ride. lol. I obliged to a few, but had to take a rain check on the rest. For those that I gave a ride to, it was hilarious hearing them start to swear like a drunken sailor. "OH $H@@@@@@" "HOLY $H@@@@@" It's so funny. Another thing I found quite interesting: They all seemed to be totally shocked that I/we did the install all on our own. If they only knew it really was not that hard. If you can turn a wrench and read basic English, you can install this. Trust me....

Anyways, I love it... best mod I've done on any car, so far. It used to be my Borlas and MGW, but Maggie takes the cake The fact that I did the install myself makes it all the more gratifying.

Some pics tonight, I finally got a chance to wash her, though I ran out of daylight. I hate the end of summer. I'll try to take more pics this weekend.

Be careful. Horsepower is a fantastic drug. You will get used to it quickly and thirst for more. It just doesn't end.

Holy Crap Man! That looks so fast!!! Good for you. I have to say, I'm a little green with envy, but I also know this puts you in danger of horsepower addiction, and I do NOT need that again, LOL. Also, I can only imagine what other mods this is going to cause. Do you have a better clutch yet? LCA's? Driveshaft? And your tires are going to be so toast, Lol you are so in for it, haha. Your wife must be pretty cool!

hey Max... thanks buddy. My mods are listed in my sig. But I think of those you mentioned, stock. Fortunately, I don't track, don't race, don't drag, no dropped clutches, etc... I'm a street driver. Marilyn will forever be a garage queen. The only times I hit on full boost will be when I feel like it when driving on ramps, etc. I know most of you will say, "Then why'd you get it? if you don't use it?" But that's ok... going with that logic, I should drive a Prius (wife does, lol).

I just like having it there when I need it But yes, from convos with Magnuson and other SC owners, if car is driven normally, and not abused, it should reward me with many years/miles of happiness and functionality.

In the unlikely event that something does fail, I will replace with something better...
