2011 Mustang GT 5.0L Going To The Track and Dyno!
Man, if that was at my local track there would be about 50 people crowded around the car checking it out!
Evolution Performance, Inc. 12.49@112.55mph 1.80 60ft - We could have launched the car harder because it bogged off the line, but the 60ft is still decent! Track is closed, more testing tomorrow!
Not bad at all. For comparison, my 11.65@122 was with a 1.73 60ft. The run was at the same track using MT drag radials. I'm in no way an expert driver. Once these guys get a handle on this car, they'll crush my pedestrian 60ft time. With slicks, they'll be knocking on 12.2's or lower. Pretty impressive.
There are a lot of things that need to be figured out on this car and I'm not talking about the Chassis setup, that's the easy part and I will leave it at that..... for now...!

I bet tuning on this car is gonna be a b*tch. The 2010 SHO folk are having fits because it's been 8-9 months and they're still trying to figure out all the tables for the turbos and whatnot. There are 30 some-odd tables for spark timing alone. It's ridiculous. And I'm willing to bet the Ti-VCT tables are going to be all sorts of fun to tune for.
interesting first post....how can you not be impressed? They just got the car and are doing things for the magazine? What did you expect them to do? run an 11.xx out the gate? Maybe you are a competitor of theirs?
