2011 Mustang GT 5.0L Going To The Track and Dyno!
Let's get back to the topic. So that 12.7 run was apparently done on a strip? Did anyone PM the guy because it looks like the data he's posting is from a G-Tech like device. Definitely want to find out if it was a track run.
You'll also notice it's just rehashed MotorTrend #s minus the 1/4 mile.
tough to say. Then engine likely has under 100 miles when it was dyno'd so it is still very tight. No idea on how it was shifted etc. Lots of unknown's still at this time however atleast we have a dyno of a production car thus far.
This guy doesn't sound believeable. I maen why use Motortrend #'s to describe the run.
I also found that curious, but hey I am very interested and am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. However, I'm fairly certain it's just one of those logging devices unfortunately.
I'm guessing it's legit. I think they used the logging device for the 0-XX times, and the timeslip will confirm the 1/4 mile data. But we soon see one way or the other.
Good God-a-mighty, look at that torque curve! It's like a gently cresting wave! Or one of those "kinder, gentler" speed bumps. You know, the ones you just take at 30 because then the springs won't have time to rebound? Simply amazing.
Oh, and Dear eci: Major pimp e-thuggin' skillz, d00d.

We'll know the facts soon people, calm down and take a deep breath. Inhale, exhale. I'm so confident that this car will post times of 12.7-12.8 in the 1/4 mile. I won't loose sleep over it.
Torque curve isn't really an advancement over the 3v beyond the higher range.

It looks to me like a crapload of smoothing is on the one Evo posted. It doesn't mean the motor produced a "smooth" curve.
