The one and only GABE's '13 GT Build Thread!
Gonna look into that hood a bit more, I do like it quite a bit.
Went to get tuned last night, it didn't quite go the way I thought it was gonna go.
Having a major problem with the throttle ... it has a dead spot at the top of the pedal travel, then it gives too much throttle.
Part-throttle is also crap, hiccuping/bucking like crazy sometimes.
The kit came with a new twin 60mm GT500 throttle body, the tuner says on his laptop he can't see the throttle position sensor values change during that dead spot.
Short fuel trims are dead-on according to him.
Not sure if these cars have a tip-in adjustment, also not sure if the tuner looked at that.
The throttle body has a hex screw on top-right, this screw has some paint marks on it and on the throttle body, these marks don't line up.
Anybody have any thoughts?
The hex screw is visible in this pic on the top-right of the TB:

Lol .... I was thinking "fun"
.... going back today, hope he has a fix ... this was one of the runs from Monday evening, I think it put down about 501 RWHP on this run, with the timing dialed back a lot until the throttle issue is resolved

I have new wheels and tires being delivered today, but this weekend looks like a washout and I don't have a garage. Maybe next weekend.
Thanks ... if you're talking about the black pony on the RTR decklid, my friend Marty owns www.dmsign.net ... He made it.
I told him that once i post pictures of it, people are gonna want it ... Lol

When I first saw you painted the tail panel to match, I was 50-50 on it (couldn't decide if I liked the look). With the black pony on there its just awesome!
Also, I need you to get that Cervini hood (so I can see what it would look like in Sterling Gray
).
Looking awesome- hope you get it running awesome to match!

This is the first dyno pull, yielded numbers of 560 RWHP and 456 RWTQ.
Already looking into the next smaller pulley, the one I should've gotten from the get-go ... JDM is telling me the same tune with that smaller pulley will net me another 20 hp and 30 tq ... I want that
