Last night's Whipple-install progress:

the lower manifold/intercooler assembly is installed, timing cover grinding done, pulley bracket installed, and a few other smaller items done:

 

i am not happy with the progress, i need to see an earned value analysis, productivity graph and also man loaded schedule ASAP. (that's what my boss always say)

I was starting to go through some crazy Mustang-driving withdrawals ... I think the girlfriend noticed and let me drive her Shelby last night

Good to see it in progress. Soon spring will really be here and you blow the blossoms off the trees with that whipple

 

Nice progress, and you are a braver man than I... I'll work on steering, brakes, A/C and that sort of stuff- but when it comes to the engine, other than changing the oil (and carb on my older cars), it goes to a shop.

Lol, thanks guys, I'm not doing the work myself, a long-time tech and Mustang owner/modder is doing it.

Hoping for 600 RWHP, 500+ rwtq. We'll find out Monday or Tuesday when it gets on the dyno.

Today I picked her up, new Whipple installed, new boost/oil-pressure gauges installed, running on a putt-putt tune until I can get it to the tuner tomorrow or Tuesday.









Got it home and the first thing I did was pop open the girlfriend's Shelby's hood for a side-by-side supercharged-Mustang pic :

 

So jealous! Can't wait to do mine in a couple months. Patiently waiting for dyno video!

Is the scoop functional?

 

I saw it on another thread here, but I can't remember where (old people get that way), but yes, it is functional from the pictures I saw.
If I had a blower, I'd have to have that hood.
