I'm so glad I could help you out!!! Enjoy the power!!When you have some free time, give me a call and let me know what you think?
Are you picking my car up?

I would really like to find a California/Nevada/Arizona dealer that would price as aggressively as the dealers in Texas. It is just such a daunting task.
I was planning on buying a 2013 Boss, but at the price some of these dealers are selling the Shelby and the fact that my wife prefers it to the Boss, I would really like to go that route.
If it weren't 1200-1300 miles away...

Jeff: Any idea of when the $2500 dealer incentive program ends?

If you want that car out there in Texas, go for it. Driving it back would be a blast of a trip and a great break-in for it. If not, the money your saving can help pay for a transport trailer to bring it home for you.
I am definitely considering the road trip. The only problem is that I would have to take I-40 through Arizona...
Does Arizona actually maintain their roads? The last time I drove that road (early 2010) I had several potholes in the interstate try to eat my Explorer Sport Trac. I am lucky I only had to get an alignment after that business...

Maybe a transport trailer would be the way to go. I am having a local-ish dealer look into getting me one at a similar price closer to home before I make any moves. 5.0 Brian also has a not-really-used one I am considering.
Transports really arent that expensive. I have been pricing through a few different carriers just in case the weather is bad when i go to pick my car up. I will warn you though once they get your info expect them to harass you with phone calls and emails.

Thanks, guys!
I am so excited. I just bought plane tickets and a hotel room in Dallas. It will be the most excellent 1400 mile road trip I have experienced.
I am wondering if I should tape up the front end like yours for the trip home, Ecrissman. I really would not be pleased if I ended up with a rock chip or something on the way back...
