I thought special orders were mandatory deposit.... For any car?

 

I ordered mine with $1,000 deposit

 

Hell I ordered my GT w/ a $500 deposit. My dealership just held the check, they never cashed it

Depends on the Dealer....I ordered my Boss 302 over the phone and the dealer didn't require any type of deposit.

 

$5,000 Non refundable here. I think a $1,000 is very good considering what I had to pay.

I put my $1k down in November of 2011 and got my car December 29, 2012.

And they did cash my check in March.

500 here too, they did cash it, applied to the the purchase price.

 

A deposit is standard ops for a special order, normally applied to the purchase, but I guess you could get it refunded ??? ( not sure why )
Also, your scoops & quarter window louvers are a dealer install item, they don't come from the factory..

I simply need to write a check for $1k.
They will either refund the $1k, or give me $1k credit on the finanal numbers.
The order is in the system, has not been submitted to Ford.

 

The salesman asked me for a deposit. I put down 2000 dollars, but it seamed up to me to put down what I wanted to put down. He probably would have taken 500 dollars.

 

No deposit and ADM for our 2014. Depends on your dealer. Good luck! This car is amazing!
