no. It seemed to at first, but now is dying all the time and i was wrong about just at stops. that what it was doing at first, now all the time. I can't get to a shop during work hours because I work (and am single and have one car).

I bought some silicone to make a gasket aover the old one, I don't know what else to do for now.

here is a pic not of the problem but of the jury rig. I figured I had too much tape on it so removed it from the sides of the sensor. It worked fine for an hour until I tromped the gas. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ot5707/1424452982/

So let me clarrify. Is it the plug that wont stay in the sensor plate? Or is it the plate itself that wont stay on the CAI?

good news

I got the sensor screwed in flush, programmed the computer to stock, then back to the custom tune, and it ran fine until about 250 miles then the CEL came on (same two messages I posted before- fuel too lean)

But it has only stalled twice in the 500 miles since I screwed the sensor down. Let me know where you all want to meet and I will even though the problem isnt urgent like before

It is stalling du e to a manafucaturers defect I think it is tsb 6-9-9. stalling after high speeds is common. I took it to Bob Hurley, and the serviceman there was supposed to fix it and my trunk. When I picked up the car, he had done nieither and told me I needed to bring it in for "diagnosis". I don't understnad what needs diagnosed. I told him the trunk didnt work, I know that shouldnt take an exstra trip to the dealership, but more importantly, Ford Motor Co has already diagnosed the fuel pump problem and has a tsb for it. And I bought the premium warranty, so I am supposed to have a rental. Of course he doesnt want to give me a rental for the "diagnosis" visit. I already figured the ext warranty was a rip off, now I see it doesnt even work now that I need it. I am writing a letter to the management as we speak. Don't one or two of the Bold Moves staff work at B Hurley? After I get the complaint written I will post it here in its entirety (and every other mustang forum on the net)

For some reason I am just reading this Edwin. That sucks. . Sorry you had a bad experience. I believe that we are planning a tech day soon if you can attend perhaps we can help out.

Randy

Thanks you two. I talked to Randy on Friday he said he would take care of it (I believe I have met Randy in person before regarding the Bold Moves club). He said he would take care of it. Today is Wednesday I haven't heard back from him, I guess I will contact the warranty folks at Ford, maybe the customer service / complaint dept at Ford Motor level or something. I thought TSB issues were easy to get taken care of.

yes let me know when. The lever behind the passenger seat broke off too. It must be simple to fix, but I cant figure it out. I can't tell what actually broke. Maybe someone can look at it and tell me if I need to order another lever and snap it in or what. Not a big problem though. Not being able to get in my trunk and my car staklling due to a manufacturer defect. let know when the meetup is or something and I will go. I attached my car if you see me downtown holler at me

It was the side of the plastic lever that broke on mine, which allowed the spring clamp on the inside of the lever to come off of the metal rod in the seat back. I think the fix is as easy as getting the new plastic lever and sliding it back over the rod. I may see if it is somthing that is covered under warranty.
