There is a TSB for "hesitation after long cruise" (tsb 06-9-9) that required changing of the fuel pump due to air bubbles forming around the pumps pick-up. At least you shouldn't have that issue now if it wasn't changed out already. My 05 needed the change. The joys of owning the first model year.

I got the new SCT and i managed to load the strategy tune that came with (4.6L Mustang), i couldn't find the 2 customs tunes that suppose to come with it, i found only 1 custom tunes and it killed the engine after loading it and after too many ERROR messages on the tuner + O2 codes.
So i went back to stock tune and loaded the Strategy one (also 4.6L Mustang) but it has some parameters that i didn't quite understand which one to choose.
I choose those only:
-Fuel Octane: 93
-Fuel Eco: Normal
-Fuel Injectors: Stock
-Rear O2: On
-CMCV Delete: Stock
-Air Intake: JLT CIA 100
-Traction Control: Normal
-Spark :0-2000 (0 degrees)
:2000-4000 (0 degrees)
:4000-8000 (0 degrees)
Rev limit: Drive - 6300 Rpm
Rev Limit: N - 6300 Rpm
Idle Speed: - 800 Rpm
Now what i need to know is Tire Size, i have 275/35/19 tires - what tire size shall i choose on the tuner?
I also need to raise the shift points so as to maximize the full RPM range, what to choose from those parameters below?
WOT shift 1 to 2 = 0 mph
2 to 3 = 0 mph
3 to 4 = 0 mph
4 to 5 = 0 mph
Shift Press:1 to 2 = 0
2 to 3 = 0
3 to 4 = 0
4 to 5 = 0
Any suggestions please that will improve car performance?
Thank you.

I'm using a xcal2, you must be using a xcal3 as I don't have the air intake parameter feature. Xcal3 may be asking for "rev per mile" for tire size. You can use the chart below.
Do you have the instructions for loading your programs? You should shut Off all functions like radio, hvac, etc. You should turn key Off and remove fuel pump and fan control fuses. You should use a battery charger to keep power up while loading your program. Any power glitch can cause havoc with a program load. With key Off you plug in xcals connector to obd port then you can follow xcals programing.
If you have a manual trans ignore the shift points feature. I don't have an Auto so I don't know what shift points to use. I wouldn't touch the spark controls either.
I'm not too familiar with the xcal3, someone else may be able to help, Good luck.
