I can think of 3 things looking at the front of the engine:
1: Thicker harmonic dampner
2: Dual Point distributor with no vacuum advance
3: If it's a '65 or later, it would have a larger diameter alternator pulley

you could`nt have asked a " COOLER " question
.. when i built my SCJ forever ago it took the machine shop several weeks to find one intake valve that had to be replaced.. it was larger than even a " standard " 428 cobra jet,,, but someone else can give the answer
and to think,, i sold my SCJ motor to Jan for a whopping 100 bucks... after i bought it back from the fellow who put the 6 cylinder in the car .. the only 69 r code mustang with a six banger i bet..
Next question: What is the displacement of the engine that was installed in the first Mustang that came off the assembly line?
