Ford and Mustang Trivia
OK, in 1970 an RPM Rev limiter came on all Boss cars. It also came on one other engine in a Mustang. What was the engine and what was the RPM it was limited to?
Perhaps I should have said :
It also came on one other engine in a Mustang in that year. What was the engine and what was the RPM it was limited to?
I only have one remaining. I'd have to scan it. it was taken right after I had it repainted. God, I wish I still had that beast. I sold it in 1985 for $5500. It was a daily driver back then. Sold it cause putting gas in it was killing me (1.56 a gallon back then) plus I was a college puke not making much money then. I think I was averaging @ 8 MPG.
1974! You could only get a 2.3 (pinto motor) or the 2.8 v6 (solid lifter).
What was the first commercially available, aftermarket aluminum cylinder head for the 5.0 Mustang?
Easy... Edelbrock Performer. I also had the intake...
Who was the first NMRA Outlaw racer to run a 7-second pass in his turbocharged coupe?
