S1MS 9601-A - Cobra oval air cleaner element (filter) - I have a replacement on my '66 Shelby,
FA-48 also FDJ-9601A.
Anyone have an Autolite FA-41 laying around?

Name the 1960s supplier that did small production volume part fabrication and machining for Ford and Shelby. They even did at least one well known preproduction 1969 styling prototype car. (Bonus congrat's for knowing which car.) They did machining for some things like intake manifolds and scattershields that other suppliers started (cast) too.

Correct. They did all sorts of small volume work for Ford and Shelby. One of the old parts books mentions that DST did the final machining on many of the COBRA intake manifolds. The NOS in the factory box COBRA scattershield I bought is in a box with DST labeled box. They are still a source of the large diameter generator and alternator pulleys for the HP289 Fairlanes and Cobras.

According to the 1969 SCCA Trans-Am Race Rules:

Well, the number of units and the wheelbase is incorrect. but the rest is right including the bonus. so since 2 parts were wrong and the 2 part bonus was right - I'll call it a wash and let you have it.
