Just ordered a VB GTCS
Tried to buy one locally but the dealer that had it said he couldn't give us x-plan on a CS. Every other dealer was willing. So we ordered exactly what we want with all the options.
I lifted a few pictures from here and have one as my screensaver/wallpaper to keep my inspired until it arrives.
Can't wait! Were told six weeks. Any of you order? How long did it take?
Is there a number to track the progress without asking the dealer for it? My husband works for the railroad so once its on the train we can track it with the VIN.

congrads on the VB CS, I love mine. Check my sig for order dates. different things like type of radio, wheels, scoups etc. all have a bearing on how long it takes and what Ford has in stock when you order it.
As for the rail road...LOL.. I tracked mine.. went through three different rail roads co.'s. Went from Detroit to Chicago to Tennessee to St. Louis. It sat at the rail yard for four days to make the 15 mile trip to the dealer.
Well worth the wait.
To track your car through the build process you get to use the ERL ( evil robot lady... but she's no lady) do a search on the forums for ERL there is lots of info. Do not use your VIN, use order number. Any questions post it here, someone will answer, or PM me and I will work you through it.
Good luck and congrats, welcome to the Mustang family!!!!!

It should be on the build sheet ( mine says VEHICLE ORDER COMFIRMATION at the top) if you got one from the dealer. If not just ask them they should get one for you. Also there should be a letter in front of the order #, for me it was the salesmans first initial. The problem with the VIN and the ERL is she does not understand some of the letters, and by the time you read off all the info it gets messed up and you get frustrated. LOL.
