Hau talked about this car in our interview yesterday, so I suppose I can post these pics!

The GT/CS (California Special) will be available nationwide in model year 2007. The package includes a hood scoop, side scoops, a new front fascia, GT/CS decals, and the engine cover from the 2004 show cars.

It needs a '68 GT/CS spoiler, bad.

Any word on how much more it will cost? I honestly don't think they will sell THAT well, but it'll be nice to have more parts to choose from. (i.e. scoops, fascia) Any interior changes?

How long have you had these pics, Brad.

Hate it that Ford is going to the fake scoops and tape route for this special edition Stang....hope it is not a sign of the future.

So it's the same car with crappy fake scoops and stripes. Good thing those engineers get paid so well, I couldn't have thought of that.
Just when we thought Ford had left that kind of stuff behind...

Just something else for the non-Ford folks to make fun of.

No HP gains or any thing? I'm disappointed in this one. Hopefully a Bullitt or Mach 1 . . . some thing will be better than this.

I'd take a GT over that. I'm just not a fan of fake, irrelavent slap-ons.

What model year do you see other SE's being produced.

Love that new fascia! I think it looks good! Anymore I am just happy we still have the opportunity to walk into a Ford dealership and buy a NEW Mustang, with all the trouble the US automakers are in. Folks should be thankful for what we DO have!

It's a shame that such a clean design got cluttered up.

I'm disappointed too that there isn't any HP gains, and I hope that they do build a special bullit edition, that would look totally awesome on this new body design. Also, is it just the way the picture looks that there are no "scoops" i guess is what they would be called in the headlight buckets?

Glad I didn't wait for this version to be released. Not a big fan of it.

Hey Brad, how long have you been sitting on these pics and where did they come from? Just curious. The way you said that, it sounded like you've had them before now.

Why? I don't see how Ford can possibly sell these so-called special editions to anyone who knows better. Yep, a GT with add-ons. No added HP? Forget it.

The stripe doesn't look bad as far as stripes go. The fake hood scoop? Blah ... I have never been a fan of those fake scoops.
