You Know ADMs Are Dead When:

Well, we sold both of our new '08 GT500's this weekend. The vert went for about $1,500 over MSRP and left the country. The coupe went for about $4,500 over MSRP, but we gave the customer a very generous trade-in allowance for his trade-in. One more '08 GT500 on the way, and I wouldn't be surprised if it sells really close to MSRP, as well. Maybe just a couple thousand over MSRP (peak interest and sales of Mustangs is fast upon us). A lot of dealers around us still have $10-$20K ADM's slapped on their remaining GT500's, but they are just collecting dust at those asking prices.

Not yet. I need to soon because my wife tells me I'm showing obsessive behavior. I don't know what she means, doesn't everyone check e-bay every hour? Didn't everyone make a spreadsheet of all the GT500's within a 200 mile radius(thanks to your very gracious help CH) broken down by state, color and options.
Seriously though (not that I was kidding about the spreadsheet!) I have trips and routes planned hopefully for the next few weekends with stops at 3-4 dealerships each time. I plan to sojourn across TN, AR, and AL armed with VIN's, MSRP info and the name of a contact at each dealer. I'm hoping if I let them know I in town for just the day and have other stops in mind it will show I am serious and maybe make them more eager to get a deal done.

OMG! Had a call today from a dealar about an hour a way and they will go MSRP on a Black Vert! Just filled out a credit app and I think I'm gonna wet my pants. I can't believe I'm this excited about buying a car that's not the color I want, has options I don't need and at full sticker price. Gotta go check my undies!

I at least wipe it down about every other time I drive it. The Friggin' brake dust demands it. I enjoy keeping it clean.
As far as the radio, I don't play it enough to need to program them. It is always off unless I am traveling long distances on the highway. Otherwise, I listen to the music the Corsa exhaust makes. I sounds much sweeter than the Shaker 500.

even the 'rape you' ford dealerships are only asking around $3K over MSRP now (Metro Atlanta).
Problem is I wanted one for so long, now that it's close to MSRP, my GT is more than 1/2 way paid off. I might as well wait another 1 1/2 years, pay this one off, use ad DD then buy a GT500.
By then I may want a Z06 though.

Bought my 08 GT500 for MSRP and whined about that to my dealer where I have been buying Fords for 20 years......They had a 7G ADM on the car because it was the Dealer policy on GT500's. This dealership in Scottsdale Arizona is part of the Mega chain Corporate America phenom that has taken over the dealer industry.....Nobody likes this policy of adjusted market prices....if the cars sit too long on the lots then the adjustment goes away....it's simply supply and demand.
