Nick

Jay (Icyknight) turned me on to these guys:

http://www.anchor-room.com/product_i...iekjgnbbhli830

It's the complete kit for under $50. If you price out the individual pieces on another vendor site, it's about $140.

The Anchor Room kit pieces are thin and easy to work with. When you do your tail lights, the only thing you cover are the white reverse lenses.

Thanks Tom, $50 ist a bad price for the whole thing. I only wanted to do the taillights, rear reflector and the side marker lights.

Anchor room has a lot of cool stuff. I had them make my dash badge for me.

I used this stuff. Was a little thicker and rubbery feeling but I liked it. I think I got the gunsmoke but I can't remember for sure.

I watched my baby sit in the driveway, waiting to bring it to the dealer on Tuesday for a low oil pressure warning.

When are you getting this warning?

With the engine off, key turned to the ON position?

Yeah, with the engine off. The engine sounds fine when I would turn it over. There were no leaks and the oil level was normal. I'm assuming it's a busted sensor but I won't drive it just incase, until I bring it in ( the dealers only a couple of miles from me).

That's normal, lol

Of course there's low oil pressure, the engine isn't running.

All newer Ford cars show that message in the cluster with the key on, engine off.

Maybe I'm not explaining it correctly. When I turned the key to accessory the oil light stayed on and on the center screen it said low oil pressure. When i would turn the engine on the light would stay on and still said low oil pressure. Everything else oil temp, engine temp, etc was normal.

If the warning message is still on with the engine running, then yeah, I'd say there's an issue.
But if it's just on with the engine off, regardless of where the key is turned to, then nothing to worry about.

Nick,....did you change the oil recently? If so,...did you use the same grade oil as previously in the engine? I think that may play a role in the pressure reading differently.
Also, it could the oil sensor.
Either way,.....good luck and let us know how you made out!

No I haven't yet, I only have 1500 miles so I was going to bring it in in a month anyway for an oil change.

Had to remove my matte black stripe. The shop that botched my fender put some scratches in the stripe that were too annoying to me so I peeled it off. Good news is that peeling it off the Expel was no problem. So now I need to decide if matte stripes are worth the aggravation or should I go with a gloss stripe. I left the pinstripes on for the day to see if anybody would ask me about them.

That sucks about the stripe being scratched.
With how clean and shiny your car is, I would go with a shiny black stripe.
Good luck!

Hmmmm....a wide silver stripe between the black pinstripes might look nice. That could go well with your Stone interior.
