After 10 months of saving, and almost 8 weeks from order to delivery....SHE'S FINALLY ARRIVED!!
Pics to follow at a later time but man it looks BEAUTIFUL...and they haven't even washed/waxed it yet!! Hopefully will be able to drive it within the next day or 2.
Hang it there to who's still waiting! I know you've heard it before but it will be worth it when you see it in person!

Well got a call from FCS Teir2 today. My car is still sitting at Flat Rock under stop ship. She wouldn't say whether the stop ship was an re-inspection or lack of railcars issue. No updated ETA at this time. She said she was going to check on it everyday and call me if she see's any new info or movement. I am not a happy camper! Now it's time to decide to sit and keep waiting or cancel and get something else.
Again the ladies at FCS are very nice and helpful. Also thanks for your help too, Deysha! It's very much appreciated!!!

Only insight I can add is it could be a while Chief. Contacting Deysha on here is a good step though, she works for Ford Customer Service and is probably the only person on this forum keeping us sane through the waiting game.

Go to page 84 where she posted as FordCustomerService and click on the name, from there you can send a private message and she should be able to help you out. It is a 1-2 day turn around as she gets very busy on multiple forums keeping us all informed about our cars.

When my car arrived on Wednesday, it had 91 miles on it. (and I watched it come off the truck) There was a sticker inside that said "This vehicle's odometer reading is 91 miles due to testing by the manufacturer" Maybe they are testing all of them extensively?

Can you tell us more about this sticker? Where was it located/affixed exactly and what did it look like?

Our rail car number is ETTX801346 (Canadian National Railways). For those who are really ambitious and want to track your vehicle via the rail car yourself, and you are out west, here is what we did:
1. Called Canadian National Railways Customer service at 866.926.7245. I gave them our rail car number and they directed me to Indiana Harbor Belt, which is where the rail car currently sits. IHB is in Gibson, IL.
2. I called IHB at 708.201.3460 (Customer Service/Car Tracing). You can also enter your rail car info here and track it online while IHB has control of it. I gave the person our rail car number and he told me it was slated to transfer from Canadian National Railways to Union Pacific. He also said the rail car should be leaving IHB this afternoon and head to the Union Pacific switching yard in Proviso, IL. The guy also asked if we had the VIN of our car, which I gave him. He looked it up and confirmed our car was in "slot 4" on the rail car.
3. I called Union Pacific Customer Service at 800.272.8777. I gave them our rail car number. He told me the computer shows the following: Our rail car is to hook up with a Union Pacific train and leave Proviso, IL at 9:30p tomorrow, 5/21. It is due to arrive in Rolla, CO (Commerce City, CO) at 4:18a on 5/25.
From there it is just a matter of them unloading the cars at the holding center, then our dealer getting a local transport up there to pick our cars up.
Many thanks to all the railroad workers who took the time to answer my questions and help me track our rail car!
FYI, if you use Google Maps to see the travel path of the car as it left Flat Rock, MI, it seems very inefficient, but I am no train logistics expert. The rail car follows this path:
Flat Rock, MI
Lansing, MI
Gibson, IL
Proviso, IL
Commerce City, CO (Rolla, CO)
When you enter in all those locations, the train travels a big backward "N" shape before it finally heads west. Click here for the map.
Hope others find this info helpful.
