^ It will be well worth the wait orpheus. My order to delivered time was less than 2 months. Delivery day was the best day of my automotive life.
EDIT: Remember to tell then NOT TO TOUCH THE CAR WHEN IT COMES OFF THE TRUCK. Make sure you do it. No scratches/marring, etc. Don't let them wash/detail it either. Trust me on that. It will cost you 10 hours of labor buffing it, and/or paying someone else to take out the swirls they put in.

After 8 days from last time I called, I decided to call ford customer service...been 8 weeks 1 day.... Hasn't been picked up by the plant still....
Maybe deysha can decode this: "awaiting further <something> by c.o.(f?)(s?) last letter is a consonant...
Whoever gets back on the line gives me this news in a pessimistic way like "thanks u for holding Yeah unfortunately it seems like at this time it hasn't been picked up the computer? Says awaiting further instructions(?) You can always call back in a couple of weeks and we will definitely have an update for mmmkay?"
This mustang is taking very long I bet it's gonna be the most unique car ever and I should put it in my china cabinet to preserve it oooooo...dumb ford

Togan, I feel for ya man. I ordered my car 12 weeks ago, car was built 11-11-11 and I am supposed to get it today, but as of last night it still hasn't arrived at the dealership. I live about 400 miles from the Flat Rock plant, and with updates from Deysha have been following the car. It sat at the plant for 11 days before being put on a train to Chicago. That train ride took 6 days! And it has been sitting in Chicago since Sunday the 28th. I only live 150 miles from Chicago. I work in logistics and if we ran our business like this well, I wouldn't be ordering a new Mustang. Maybe by some
Stroke of luck the transport dropped the car off after midnight.
FromZto5, thanks for the encouragement, I appreciate it. My salesman is an awesome guy and he has a list of do's and dont's with my car.
Waiting.......

9 Months ago I ordered LS 714, I received it yesterday.
Its rained for last 2 days and expected to rain for 2 more, we haven't had much rain for at least 6 months.
BTW this car far exceeds my expectations.

Besides that, the greatest car I've ever owned. Such a thrill driving on twisties at 40mph in 3rd with that DOHC growling through the corners. Stick it out everyone, you'll love every minute.

Well got it home. Drove it over 100 miles today. Stood in the garage and looked at it for a while. Yeah, it was worth the wait. FromZto5, it was has been pouring here for two days and since it was crappy out I told them not to wash it up but they did anyway and brought it up front. Thankfully under the harshest of fluorescent lights i inspected it and he didn't muff it up at all. Now on with the mods....
