I worked 14 hours last night and got up to go pick it up today. I have to say this dealership does THE worst prep I have ever had on a car I bought. That being said the car is beautiful. No good pictures yet, but here is one sitting in the drive.
I know a lot of you prefer to get rid of any chrome and think the inside has too much "bling". Frankly, we love it. It is very retro. Looks more like what I remember from the classics. I really miss the growl of a V8 but the appearance on the Pony is more what I wanted and I don't have anywhere to drive a V8 like it should be driven.
Husband and sons plan to put it on the lift tomorrow and give it the once over. Found a flaw in one of the wheels already. It is a machining flaw I think. Personally, I think Ford should replace it but in this day and age I doubt they will.
Can wait for a day off so that I can have a little fun!!!

still waiting on mine 
ETA was 8/2 called dealer friday said its possible setting on the holding lot in twin oaks pa waiting on a truck carrier to bring it over. said they wont deliver it till the truck company gets a full load to come over this way...so my car just might be setting there for 2 weeks!! waiting on a stupid full load.......

My car arrives Tuesday but I have a situation..I travel this Thrus/Friday until the following Tuesday. I'm having the dealer install a few accesorries which one of them has to be painted.The thing is I don't want to leave a brand new car at the airport..I have a trade in involved so I think Im going to have the dealer hold my car at the dealership until I come back..Torture!!!

Been following this thread since March. My fiancee placed an order for a Race Red GT Premium convertible on March 16. It finally arrive on June 2 and we took delivery this weekend.
Tremendous car.
Thanks to Deysha for keeping us sane while we endured the long wait.
I know its not real until photos are posted. When we get better weather in Northern Virginia, I'll take a few shot and post them.
Next accessory to order: MRT headrests.

picked up the new 2012 california special today.!!
very smooth and nice. too much to put into words.
here is a pict of the 2003 saying goodbye and hello to the 2012 at the dealership. mine took 2 weeks from time it was shipped out. not bad i guess.
