Elvism, that car is straight up SICK. If hadn't fallen in love with Lava Red I would have ordered PW/Red Interior.... add that glass roof and MAN does it look fantastic.

 

I am new to the forum and just ordered a V6 Premium, black with pony package and nav on 8/1. I do not have the build number yet, however how long has the wait time been recently?

 

Did your dealer receive word that navigation is available again? Did they give you confirmation that your order is not on "Material hold"?

Ford sent notice out back in June that Navigation Radio (58N) has been built out and is no longer available to order.

You might want to ask as I would hate to see you waiting and waiting.

I have not received the order or build number yet. They haven't said anything about this, however, now I know what I'm doing when they open. Thanks for the heads up. I'm just hoping this won't be an issue because this is an important feature for me.

As soon as I know I will update the thread.

I just contacted my dealer and he said that he received a dealer receipt and should get the order/build number next week. No holds or issues yet. Crossing my fingers.

Update 2
I messaged a Ford Rep on another forum about the issue and she said that she does not know of any material holds at this point.

When you placed your order with your dealer, you should have received a Vehicle Order Confirmation sheet. That should have your order number, please message me with your dealer name and your order number and I can get some more info for you.

Deysha I have a question my dealership ramp ford pa code 03778 says they have no alocation for mustangs and that it is Gonna be at least 3 monthes to get the car is there any way to get more accurate information regradring dealer allocation if it makes a difference its a d plan car thank you for your help

 

Unfortunately Deysha can't do anything about allocations that's a dealer thing they would need to work out with their zone manager. Essentially each zone gets x allocations for a certain model which are then divided up between the dealers in that zone usually based on past sales history. If the dealer has it in their system as a customer sold unit sometimes it can get picked randomly by Ford but if not it will be a long wait. Best bet is to check other dealers in the area or see if yours can dealer trade for a comparable car.

How long after I've received my "build by" date should I expect to see the window sticker online?

 

It's usually about a week before . . . I got mine May 27th car was completed on June 6th.

 

I just received a PM from Deysha stating that my build date has been pushed back to the week of October 3rd. WTF?!?!?! I ordered it on July 7th - 3 months to build a freaking car?!?! I hate this car and I haven't even seen it. I'm canceling this bucket of ****.

Ford, if you're listening, you've lost a customer for life.
