VIN, Build, Delivered: The 2012 Edition

Will they be able to tell me more than just "it's been shipped?" Seems like they didnt offer much in the way of tracking details last time I called. Luckily my dealer was able to provide rail car info.

It seems like calling with the VIN will be the best method, since thats the only way I got the VIN in the first place.
I ordered on 6/1, wasn't planning on waiting until August....

Through this forum, Yes a thousand questions. But if you call, you wont be speaking to her. You will be speaking to a different person each time.

If I were you, I'd look into it real closely before doing it, I've only heard bad stories on all kits available right now, hard knocking in the back and Go-Kart comfort...I'll be waiting until eibach or another brand comes out with something different than what is available right now, of course the look is great with the drop but... My two cents for today

I had read and was told by my dealer at the time of ordering that right now people are getting VINs about 3 weeks after ordering. I'd even heard people are getting cars ~6 weeks after ordering, although my dealer told me 6-8 weeks plus one since ford shuts down for a week for the 4th of July. I didn't say it was a long time, although everything seems long waiting for my car lol.
I guess when you order a car in November 3 weeks is a drop in the bucket lmao

Thank you for reaching out to me. I'll get to your pm as soon as I can.

For everybody who is waiting for their Mustangs, have patience, the wait is worth it. I picked up my V6 manual Mustang on April 26th, six weeks after ordering. It's the best car I've ever owned. Great power and handling, transmission shifts great. My girlfriend said it felt like a rocket ship after I hit the gas taking off from a light. You will love your car!

Deysha let me know that my car was loaded onto a train car today. However, it has not yet left the factory loading dock. Does anyone out there know what I should expect for an ETA. The one I was given was 6/25 and I don't see that happening. I'm located more than half the country away. Driving distance is 2,346 from Flat Rock, Michigan to Everett, Washington. Any time estimates would be appreciated!

Second ETA 6/11
Third ETA 6/23 car got to NJ saturday. Still no word from the dealer, still have 2 days to make Fords third try at estimating!
Hope that helps or at least doesn't let you get false hopes on Fords ETA's
