I know i'm in the same area ! Guess what Rick, i might follow you along on that quest for the Shelby, only thing is we'll have to wait a bit longer to find out more about the car. I'm still thinking about that big saving we might get if buying it over in the U.S VS here at Ford 440 where my friend Gianni works for the high performance division of that dealership. He told me he woud get me ( and he's not a salesman) the best possible price on either a GT or Shelby.

Dan, we might join our effort in trying to get better pricing for 2 cars. In USA or in here.
I actually managed to get a less than MSRP for my 2011 GT500 with my salesrep and the owner at Chartrand. (Promising I will give them some good deals on their next home theater stuff they will buy from me)

You can PM me or email me.

Yup, i might do that Rick. i know Daniel ( salesman that got me my 2009 Escape) over at Chartrand, real nice guy, but i don't know his boss, obviously you know him. Starting to get late here, work tomorrow, so i'll keep in touch with you very soon. I also might get them a very good deal on their next security system. Security is my business. Ciao

We might see the Recaro seats as an option on Job2 of the 2011 GT's as well as the front fascia of the CS. Stay tuned. That's from a reliable source here at TMS.

What is the MSRP for 2011 GT500? I'm curious about what options you went with as well...thx...been trying to find MSRP info on the new GT500. I was guessing it's a few thousand more with the changes, but I don't really have any exact numbers.....

The salesrep agreed to give me a price less than MSRP (In % or $ is yet to be confirmed), but the question is ... what will be MSRP... no one knows yet ...

Trust me, it's been a complaint with the Mustang for a long time, not just the 2010s.

You are right though. That's probably been the number 2 complaint. Right after IRS.

I don't think I've seen those in a Ford since the 2000 Cobra R, right?

How can that be? Next thing you know you'll be able to get a factory installed roll cage as an option.

That's all I'm saying out here. If you want more, take it to PMs.

Well I just know how expensive good seats will be to retrofit with factory quality, especially considering seat heaters and side airbags. I'd rather have them come from the factory that way. Does anyone know when we will hear about new seats?

Overboost will have to answer that.

I thought he hinted at maybe even Job 2 for the 2011 didn't he?

Yeah he said Job 2. No clue when official word would break. Mayber 05stangkc or Jeff or Brian could find the option in the system in CONCEPTS or something when the order guide comes out.....

Recaros would be cool. Mind you, my old Ford Capri 2.8injection (European model) had Recaros as standard way back in '84!! Those were some of the best seats I've ever sat in.

I like the seats in my '05, but only from a comfort factor. They certainly don't offer enough side support.

However, my BIGGEST gripe about the seats is that they don't have a "memory" function, so each time someone gets in the back, it takes ages to get the backrest into my correct position. I sure hope the Recaros offer this feature!!
