There were no Mustangs on display yet. I'm guessing they won't be on the stage until tomorrow or Tuesday. I just took pics of the banner. The rest of the display was normal Ford stuff we've already seen. That and they had a multitude if interactive displays to play with. The new Sync looks GREAT. I hope the '11 comes with it.
Also, the Fiesta sedan looks much better in person than in the pics. I still prefer the hatch though. Drove one at the SD Auto Show last week and it was a really solid car. Ford has another winner on its hands in the Fiesta. I think with the '11 Mustangs, Fiesta and Focus all coming out this year, the magazines are going to have a TOUGH time picking COTY!!!!

NP. I think they are the best looking OEM Mustang wheels ever. Next to the 2010+ GT500 wheels.
It was dark in the hall, but it looks like the brake calipers on the 5.0 were red too. Color-coordinated calipers maybe? OR, maybe the Brembo package is only available on certain colors? Either way, I hope the Brembo package is available with Elec Package and Glass Roof. If not, I may just pick up a 2010 which has been sitting on my dealer's lot since las June!

Yeah, and as was already pointed out it is difficult to miss the tiny flash of bright red caliper hidden behind that rim! Also, did anybody else notice the width of that rear tire on that GT????....or the size of those front discs????

I couldn't find any Ford officials around though, just union construction workers. Wanted to see if I could get any info about pricing out of them but nope.
Here's a couple pics of the Saleen display right in front (yeah we've seen all these already, but I was really tempted to lift the skirt on that S281E!)...

Well that's just a banner, but it did look really wide. They looked staggered..we'll see soon though! Should be 14" discs if it's the same as the GT500.

Few of GM's concept cars and inside the RenCen (GM Global HQ). This place was ridiculous. No WONDER they went bankrupt.
Also got to drive by Ford Vehicle Operations, but didn't get any pics

That blue one coming out of the trailer is the Chevrolet Aveo RS.

Yeah, man, those rear meats look awesome! From what I understand, the wheels featured on the "Brembo Package" are 19" x 9" all the way around, which leads me to believe that they won't be staggered like the GT500's. This is a good thing, though, for the sake of rotating one's tires every 5,000 miles or so. Trust me, the rear tires wear very quickly when you go the staggered route.

Lol. I'd rather not say online. I work for company that would allow me to be inside early, but I have no official ties to Ford. However, being the lifelong Ford fan that I am, I flipped my Auto Show badge with my name over and snooped around a bit .

Really cool that you can get us all those pics way ahead of everybody else, like i said, it's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it, and it had to be you...your on a mission, stay awake all night and hide somewhere as cars roll in through the night. Keep us posted. great job Don't worry, we'll bail you out if anything happens.
