Yeah looks sick! With a set of gloss black 19s your car will be one of my favorites...or maybe silver for some contrast.

Thanks all! I'm loving the euro led taillights. Great suggestion on glossy black rims Studly.

Same goes for me Danielle.
I would never of thought that I would own a Ford, ever. I was looking into buying a 2013/2014 Inferno Orange ZL1 Camaro. The GT500 was my intended buy originally, but it would of hurt my wallet way too much. Then, found the Roush and the rest is history.

Yeah but you can't get a GT500 in GHIG - which is a big mistake IMO. I think it would've been killer with matte black stripes!

If they made it that's what I would have now without a doubt

I was hoping in 2014 they might do it but when I found out the colors I left my 13 order in...

Yeah I was thinking would've been a good send off for the GT500 - Lava Red/Silver, Yellow Blaze/Tuxedo Black, GHIG/Matte Black, Comp Orange/White or Matte Black, Black/any of the aforementioned colors, White/any of the aforementioned colors.

They are somewhat close, depending on options, but wasn't close enough for me. I got a great deal on this Roush, and had to jump on it.
Plus, we have the "tax", (as they call it), in MA, excise tax. My excise tax for the Roush was almost a car payment!! lol With the Shelby it would have been much more as well. They base it off of your car's "estimated" worth according to I don't know what. Then, figure in the sales tax and it jumps again. Our sales tax is 6.25.
I am VERY, VERY happy with my Roush. It's like a hybrid between the Shelby and Boss, so I get the best of both worlds.

Painted black to even out lower lineup so that it would appear even. I like it. Sorry about going off topic.
Looks awesome to me. Just need to change those wheels

Makes sense to me. Ghig with matte black is a must. I would have gone your route as well.

It's this one http://www.americanmuscle.com/black-...ille-2010.html
I went with it cause it looks just like the roush grille but cost a lot less

People!! People!! Everyone who is not an enthusiast will look at your Mustang and just tell you that it is an awesome car - because it looks awesome, drives awesome and feels awesome. Don't sell yourself short because the newer models are better -> the new Toyota Corolla is better than the 2010 Corolla. The new Ford Focus is lightyears better than a 2010 Focus. It's progress and it's unstoppable, and unless you go throw down for a new car every 2-3 years, you can never keep up.

TLDR: You got what you got, you were super-happy with it at the time you got it. It's still an awesome car. Enjoy it.

You do realize why people have singled out the 2010 (and only 2010 model year) in this thread don't you?

It was the first year of the redesign. Some people loved the car and ran out to buy them right away only to find out that the very next year, both the V6 and V8 engines were replaced with much more powerful engines that offered better mileage and even the transmissions were upgraded to 6 speeds.

You don't need to buy a new Mustang every 2-3 years to keep up with the new engines/transmissions. You just need to buy any year from 2011 to 2014 and you're set.

It seemed like a raw deal for those that rushed out to buy the 2010 as soon as it was released, leaving people wondering why would Ford release such a major redesign but "hold back" on the new engines for just one year?

This may also serve as a warning to those thinking about rushing out for the 2015 the minute it hits the dealer lots.

Amen bro. I purchased my 2011 V6 back in October 2010. Dealers had numerous loaded 2010 GT's that were listed for 36k plus. I got my 11 V6 for 22,500 and had 10 less HP than the 10 Gt. I always felt the 10 owners got huge shaft up the rear.

There is always going to be changes made and continuous progress. Since the 2015 will have an updated 5.0L and a new engine, I don't think the same level of caution applies, unless you want big power like the current GT500.
