haha yeah the temptation is growing stronger and stronger...

Starting to want headers, cat-less exhaust, cobra-jet intake, cams, tuning....

Then my brakes will be the weak spot again. And suspension.

Then the engine will need more power to deal with the suspension upgrade and brake upgrade. Then I'll need wider tires. and on and on and on

My Boss friends use the 6-pt with the lower straps looping under your legs. Seems to work OK

That video demonstrates what could happen If you dont have a submarine belt. Also some clubs require equal restraints for Driver and passenger, especially if you are in the lower groups.

Racing seats are relatively cheap and easy to swap out before a track day.

Yes I agree on the need for the submarine belt. That's why I'll be using a 6-pt with all points connected. Good input with the video link though, makes it very clear. Thx.

If I can't get the recaros to work safely then yes I'll do different seats.

If you like the stick of 275-35-18s you will love 305-35-18s...12.4 inches wide...the Pirelli World Mustangs run them on the rear...I run the NT01 version in that size on a 683 RWHP Shelby and once warmed up the stick is amazing and oh by the way....being "slightly" addicted to tack day racing is kinda like being "slightly" pregnant! Also great photos and video!
