70k mile Coyote Mustang review ("That Dude in Blue" on Youtube)
I just posted this up over at my main internet car-hang out (www.miata.net) You guys would probably appreciate this even more.
Some of you guys might have heard of That Dude in Blue (David Patterson). He's a younger guy (early 20-something?) who is a total car nut. He has earned an impressive following on Youtube and seems to be a great representative of the next generation of car people. He reminds me a lot of the cleaner-cut "kids" (ha!) I run into when out cruising the local car hangouts...many of whom gravitate towards imports yet still appreciate and love the old American iron. It's always interesting to hear what they're doing to their "classic" 1990s Japanese cars.
David's music choices, editing style and his conversations with his friends will make most of us here feel...OLD (myself included, well into my mid 30s/old man years ) but nevertheless, I really enjoy his videos. He drives a variety of modded cars (some seriously modded ones) and does a great job at conveying his impressions.
His personal car is a lightly modded Grabber Blue 2013 Mustang GT 6spd that he has driven all over the country and has racked up serious miles in the process. His experieces with this car have been well documented and this latest update is very positive and encouraging.
As someone who was momentarily Coyote Mustang-free (and has been driving the HELL out of it since getting it back!! ), this 70,000 mile update warmed my heart. He's thoroughly happy with his car.

I've been following him for about a year too and really like his videos. I just watched that video the other day and I'm surprised he's past 70k miles.

I have also watched a few of his and also the suburawrxfan guy as well. Both seem to give a pretty good description of the cars that they review. Funny thing is I just started watching YouTube on my PS4 not long ago. Before that I never really watched it much, now I go home and start watching it all the time.

What a great review! It's very encouraging to know his car is going strong at 70. I love my car as much as he does and it has been the best car I have ever owned. I wish I could get that kind of gas mileage though. With mostly traffic and some highway, I'm averaging around 18MPG. I have never seen my miles to E over 300... EVER. Maybe I need a tune, boss intake, throttle body... byebye warranty though

I watched his latest video and found it to be pretty good. entertaining and easy to watch and listen to. he's probably got a good future ahead of him in the field of auto reviewing and videography.

I've seen many of his vids and they are very good. I use my Stang as a dd too, and it sees all kinds of weather here in NY, and it's good to hear about his Stang going strong at 70k with few problems.

My poor MPG is definitely because of my location. There is traffic everywhere, all the time. An open road only occurs very early on a Sunday Back to the original topic- funny how the dude in blue was like "I dont want to drop too much $$ on my ride...etc. I'm content." And he clearly has wheels, tires, suspension work, intake, TB, prob a CAi, tune, and who knows what else lol

I have never gotten better than 20mpg on mine, when I do city driving I'm averaging 14-16. I have taken the car on a few road trips, and I average about 19-20mpg on just highway, but usually I like to go around 70-75mph and I have 3.73, so it don't really help with mpg.

David is cool. I've been following him for two years. It was mostly his videos and talking with him that sold me on the roush exhaust. I too am from Virginia and the same area. Watching his videos make me a little home sick.

Like the comments about the MT82. Totally agree with him. There are ghosts in my Chinese made German designed gearbox. Works, but every once in awhile it acts very strange.
