So i swapped my rear brakes to the GT500 ones. It works, couple of minor modifications necessary. I wrote instructions and have the complete kit on ebay, if anyone just wants to do the same without looking for all the parts and finding out what needs to be modified by themselves. This is how it looks (pic).
I also installed the 2013 HIDs, other than creating a new headlight connector and some custom wiring, as well as an additional bracket to support the grill, it works flawlessly.

for the rears, it's simply a change to the rear caliper bracket, and installing the larger rotor though. it's not a major full on change. even uses the same calipers.

Well, that is correct. But why do you think Ford has different part numbers for the caliper on the 2013GT500 ? There is a reason for this.... that's why i said minor modifications...

I assumed it was just because of different colors. I know the calipers on the base cars for example are silver.

I'm interested if you can provide details on the rear brake swap. I was under the impression that you needed to pull the axle to replace the caliper brackets. Also, do you have any issues with ABS being sensitive?

Yes, you have to remove the axles to replace the bracket. I took the chance and upgraded my diff-cover at the same time. The process is easy, it just requires some time and man, that diff fluid stinks
No ABS issues. I don't expect any, as the sensor picks up the signal at the axle and other than the radius of the disc, nothing else changes. Also, the brake lines work absolutely fine with the different location of the caliper.

Good to know. I have most of the part numbers, but didn't think to do it just yet.

Anyone ever figure out if the cluster was swappable?
Seconded, I would definitely do this...

I have a 2013 instrument cluster in my 2012 now. It does indeed work, but there are some things that are not working, such as track apps, some of the digital gauges, and teh cruise control. Working on this problem now with dmhines.

What is the bracket for? I can't make sense out of these photos. 2013 headlights are the same dimensions. The fogs are considerable bigger with all the heatsink out back to cool the high temp HID fogs.

thanks..jw

Hi, the Headlights are the same shape, all the mounting points fit, but due to the different front bumper of the 2013, the mounting points from the 2010-2012 headlights as marked in the picture are missing. So i needed to create two small bracket to mount the top of the grill. Easy job, took less than 30 minutes. I haven't touched the fogs, one of the folks in our local Stang group has some due to a grill conversion, so maybe i will try that, too.
Hope this helps,

Can you post pics of the front of your car with the new '13 headlights installed? Thanks
