New 2010 GT Interior Spy Shots
After looking at all those pics and reading the page properly, theres a couple things I don't get. Apparently the photographers were lucky enough to find a tester parked to take these interior pics (so it says) so why the hell did they only take 2 half assed pics? If that was me and there was a prototype Mustang sitting in a parking lot I can tell you the first thing I would do would be to take a close up of the shifter to show if its a 6 speed and second, crawl behind the the **** thing and take a picture of the rear end! I would also take more than two friggin pictures!
Either these "professional spy photographers" are complete morons, or there is something else going on.
Maybe its just me getting impatient but seriously! Doesn't it seem a little weird?
Oh yeah, and my other favorite thing about the pics...just put a piece of tape over the pony on the steering wheel...that'll trick them!

Fairmont??? Ever see a 67 Mustang????
Not sure why anyone has a problem with the square center vents. No Mustang in history ever had four round vents until the 2005, just like the Lincoln MKZ, Freestyle, or many Audis which all use four round vents. The round on the outside and square on the center make it more like a classic Mustang, and that's a good thing
To me this looks like a 67, from the shape of the radio/HVAC area, to the way it waterfalls into the console, to the aluminum hubs in the gauges. Nice.
kkkkk

It works both ways. The spy photographers get good ongoing business.........the car makers get a slow reveal of their latest product.
All the new dash shapes are true interpetations of the 1967-68 models. The square center vents, the center stack bezel that wraps over the top of the audio controls, the curves at the bottom of the center stack that flows into the console.
The one observation I made was that for the new 2010 model they did away with the classic protruding large gauge pods and made them flush like the three small gauges on the 1967-68 models.

Every Mustanger should be certified in reading history and looking at pictures of classic models!

I had the 1967 model committed to memory since I was two years old... I remember it vividly. Look at me with my Dad's 67 in my avatar! Anyway, the 1967-68 dash and console was the best of all the Mustangs. My only other favorite interiors are the early to mid 60's Tbirds.

Only the 1979-86 Mustang dash looked like the Fairmont's.. Because it used the same exact dash with different gauges and trim bezels!

I personally don't like the radio controls on the steering wheel, mostly because once you swap out to a better radio deck, those buttons are useless. Unless you mod them to controll your line lock or n20!
