actually the entire center console looks to have been redesigned and the boot and hole where the shifter is is recessed and just different

I was wondering if it was a reflection or the hood...I cant tell but it makes sense either way to me.

Everything looks good so far except for the center vents.

Not liking the square vents. Reminds me of my parent's old Fairmont. And that's not really an interior that needs to be brought back.

120MPH speedo makes me think this may be the V6. Really liking the audio/sync controls on the steering wheel. And if that button with the squiggly lines means the Mustang is getting AdvanceTrac that would rock!!

Not sure if I like the "do everything" stalk on the left of the steering wheel.

If this is a V6 its got one hell of a interior for it. I like the seat stitching and all the little touches.

I can't imagine the 120mph speedo in a GT...its gotta be a sixer.

v6 would make sense as to why its using a runny pony emblem on the steering wheel

Since when did the V6/GT get different pony emblems on the stearing wheel?

My 05 GT has a Running Tri-bar pony.
Other than the bullitt/cobra I don't recall them being any different.

I actually like the current interior more myself, but thats just my opinion. I like the old rotating round vents. Hate the new square vents i nthe center. I liked the the simple looks of the current model

Ford is actually adding some options. I love the new steering wheel with the controls. The storage comparment above the shift is also a nice touch.

This is a V6 interior. The speedo is only 120mph and also the tach would be higher in the GT. If my memory is correct, the new 4V 5.0L will be a high revver.

Look at the chrome button above the "Y" in photography. It looks like it swings out towards the shifter.

Fairmont??? Ever see a 67 Mustang????

Not sure why anyone has a problem with the square center vents. No Mustang in history ever had four round vents until the 2005, just like the Lincoln MKZ, Freestyle, or many Audis which all use four round vents. The round on the outside and square on the center make it more like a classic Mustang, and that's a good thing

To me this looks like a 67, from the shape of the radio/HVAC area, to the way it waterfalls into the console, to the aluminum hubs in the gauges. Nice.

kkkkk
