Personally, I'm very excited to see how the new 5.0L responds to supercharging. The higher compression ratio means we'll see higher boost pressure relative to a lower compression engine. Put simply, that means I can turn the supercharger at a lower rpm and still see the same boost pressure I would see with a lower compression ratio. As an added bonus that means less heat build up which in turn means great efficiency and even more power....so long as you don't push the rods too hard.

Funny, the 19 page article interviewing Ford engineers doesn't mention this. Does Boomer have more SeCreTs even the Coyote program manager doesn't???? I wonder why Coyote has a forged crank? It's managed and built WAY better, can't it just use a cast crank?
I am going to cancel my 5.0 Mustang subscription. Boomer has countered everything Ford's own engineers say. I want my money back for these lies I bought!!!!
