I have actually been staying away since his latest outbursts started on Saturday. It was becoming an unenjoyable experience to look at the threads and sift through his self-fulfilling excrement. Made me wonder if the doctors needed to increase his dosage.
I felt like it was 25 years ago in Jr high.
Really looking forward to all the good info we typically get here!

GREAT article.
Shows a great insight onto how the engine was concieved and the trials and tribulations of some of the many people that put this engine together.
Highlights that I noticed are how they took what they learned from past experiences and put them to good use, the addition of piston coolers, etc.
What it does not get into, is the sophisticated system that runs the engine.
You could write another article I'm sure on that alone.
So while you can't BIG-boost THIS engine,
you can BOOST this engine, and it goes on the smarter, not harder approach. (probably flows better, won't require the ammount of boost used on the older MODs, and software assistance to achieve some nice numbers)

THIS motor? That means another 5.0 will take BIG boost? Can't wait!!

Awesome engine from a bunch of real enthusiasts. Too bad they were constrained by the Modular exhaust outlet locations and the Modular bore spacing because of having to use existing machinery to keep costs down and get it produced fast. Imagine what they could have done if they could have designed the heads with no constraints and could have widened the bore spacing!
