I like my '13 very much. If I could afford a new one, I would definitely trade mine in. But my big thing is, what's the interior going to look like on a base model??? Because all the photos appear to be premium models.

I knew about the IRS of the 2015 before I bought my 2013 GT. Having a Subaru Outback with IRS I knew the advantages of IRS, and I studied and debated rather to wait or not. Now I'm glad I didn't wait. Not that the 2015 is an ugly Mustang, but it is the first year of the IRS and I'm leery of the first year. Besides, in 5 years after mine is paid off, the 2018 or 19 Mustang may be more appealing.
Right now my 2013 looks more like a 1969 Mach 1 than the 2015, and the 69 Mach 1 was my all time favorite Mustang.

I would be afraid of getting a 15 and then having Ford roll out a Mach 1 or Bullit edition. That and the first year bugs. The more I see the 15 the more I like it.

I have a '14 and it is just too soon to buy another. I like both of them, just in different ways. I love the muscle car look of the 14. I love the sports car look of the 15.

They are both great looking cars.

After seeing the '15, I have no regrets in my purchase of a '14.

I dislike the nose, especially the new family grille shape. It will be interesting to see how the shape evolves in '16 and beyond.

The 2015 is a nice looking car however it looks as if a Ford Fusion, Taurus, Nissan 370Z had a threesome and the next generation stang was born. Again, looks nice but nothing I would sell my 2011 for. I don't need or want a better handling car, mine does quite fine. My 2011 handles just fine and since I don't track race, I don't care. If I were to upgrade to a 5.0 right now I would buy the 2014 model because I like the design better and doesn't look like any other Ford model.

I like my 2011; if I didn't, I would not have bought it.

I also like the 2015. I plan to wait and see what special models get introduced on this new platform though before I buy.

I took delivery on my 2014 GT (Premium, track pack, DIB) a few weeks ago. When ordering it, I saw the renders for the 2015 and knew about the IRS it would have....

I'm glad I got the 2014. While the 2015 looks great, it doesn't have the classic look which is what caused me a number of years ago to actually go 'whoa! a new Mustang who's look I *like*'. The interior of the 2015 looks like it may be better, the block/square dash front of the passenger side seems a bit overly large in the 2014. But the front of the 2014 just looks amazing. Rear of the 2015 looks off to me as well, though perhaps in person that will be better. Performance-wise the 2014 already has more power than I will probably ever truly *need*, and more than plenty to have a LOT of fun. The track package got the handling to feel proper as well.

The 2015 just looks more ... muted. I like the looks of the fusions, but a mustang that from the front looks like a fusion coupe? When a mustang approaches someone in their rear-view mirror - there should be no mistake what is about to go past. Eh... the 2014 just grabs me with more 'HELL YEAAH!'.

Yea ill be trading up. They finally got the pony car right. Nice tribute the the 69 inspired rear end. Excellent stance and handling right from the factory. If you look at were the Mustang should be 50 yrs from 64 this is it.

I disagree. I believe most people expected that cars would be flying 50 years after 64. Have you seen back to the future with the flying fox body mustangs? That's what we deserve. Since that hasn't happened, this car is pretty close.

Nice car, great colors. I am waiting for the SVT version with the TT coyote.

A test drive of the 15 will answer a lot of questions.

Primarily can I really "feel" the difference between the two cars.

That being said I still prefer the feel of my 04 SVT cobra over my 11 Shelby. Feels much more raw and visceral.

I don't think there is a bad decision to be made. 11-14's are great cars with their distinctive looks as will be the 15+.

How do I feel about my 2014 GT after seeing the 2015? Better than ever!

The obvious thing has happened. To make a global car you have to take popular ques from international markets. That's why the 2015 looks like a blended hodge-podge of different designs. My 2014 is a MUSTANG. The 2015 is a Fusion GT coupe.

It may be the first year the IRS has been mounted in the Mustang chassis, but it's far from Ford's first IRS.

Ford has been using IRS in their Australian V8 Ford Falcons for around a decade now.

It's a proven rear end. Solid and reliable. (And yes, that does say BOSS 335 on the side)

Seriously, try sitting in the back seat of your car and have someone else drive you through a mid to high speed corner with a bump in the middle. Tell me if you think it's a pleasant and comfortable ride.

I view the new mustang as evolutionary but not revolutionary. It's not like the difference between a 1967 corvette and the new 1968. That was a marked contrast. I like my lowly 2012 gt and won't trade it in on 2015 for a marginal hp increase and slightly better handling. Can't wait to see how the market responds to this car though. I just don't see this as a colossal sales success aside from the initial bump in sales just for being new.
