No, you see a passenger seat that has been moved forward. If you look at the drivers seat you'll see that the rear leg room is the same, non-existent.

very interesting.... hmmmm
Careful, I ruffled a LOT of feathers by suggesting that from the rear the 2015 Mustang could just as easily be a new generation Infiniti G37 Coupe.

Being a former G35 Coupe owner it was something I instantly picked up on. Of course being a former G35 Coupe owner, I'm very happy to see the updates that Ford has made to the new Mustang. It brings the Mustang a lot closer to where the G37 has been in chassis and interior which is a very good thing considering how close to each other a GT and G37 (now Q60) are in price.

Ok Solid Axle guys, if this report from Motor Authority is correct, you'll have what sounds like a great option for drag racing: http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1...or-drag-racers

I think a number of members nailed it perfectly in this thread.

The S550 succeeds at its main mission: making the previous one look dated and hopefully continuing the basic business case of the car while taking into account market and political realities.

Am I going to rush out and trade mine in? Probably not. Do I recognize that the S550 will be better, faster, and overall improved experience? I sure do.

Frankly though, I think Mustangs are better when they're a bit aged - don't need the attention of having the 'new one'. These aren't high-priced/low-resale German cars we're talking about...

Forget the G37, those were only a factor in this game for like 1 or 2 years - this car's target is the new 2 door compact executive with the even number for a name.

Considerong the fact the that 11-14 GT will keep with an M3 (the benchmark) around a track and take it out on a drag strip, im really looking forward to the stomping to come.

More like "Forget the G37, those aren't being produced anymore."

The 2015 Mustang will be facing off against the 2016 Infiniti Q60 Coupe.

How's that for a similarity?

Being a former G37 coupe owner - that's what i thought when i saw the 2015 Mustang - G37 rear grafted onto a sort of Mustang front end. The main differences are the Infiniti most likely won't have a V-8 and it will probably cost 60K - money you could buy a Shelby or God Forbid a Corvette with. I'll be keeping my 2014 Mustang especially since i have a FR adjustable suspension kit sitting in my garage waiting for Spring to put on. I don't mind the new Mustang front end but i think they cheapened up the rear - especially the GT badging. I do like the interior better than the 2014 but it isn't dramatically different.

After seeing the side by side comparison photos that Twin Turbo posted, I'm really glad I got a 14.

I am glad I got a '14. Performance wise I think the '15 will be amazing and the rear is growing on me but I am not loving that front end. Over time, it will probably grow on me but luckily I'm not in the market for a new car at the moment so it doesn't really matter much.

Some of the comparison pics of other models earlier in this thread are interesting. I actually went from a 1974 Pinto to a 1980 Mustang then a 2000 Escort. Yeah, I love my Fords! LOL!

95 Contour, 00 Mustang V6, 05 Escape V6 (still have) and 03 Mustang GT (still have). Mom has an 03 Focus, dad has 06 Escape V6 and 08 Fusion SE, and they used to have a 93 Taurus LX wagon, 93 Ranger, 93 Mustang 5.0 LX notch, and then 98 F-150.

After seeing so many people post photos of other cars the 2015 Mustang looks like, it makes me appreciate my Bullitt even more. One thing's for sure, the '05-09 Mustang looks nothing like any other car out there...except a Mustang.

I still like my 2012 Gt...when the 2010 bodystyle first came out I did not like it. But it grew on me and i got a 2012 when the 2013's came out b/c i did not like the front on the 2013-14. Now with the 2015 I actually like the new car. I won't be getting one...waiting to see what the new SVT Cobra will be and cost. Then I might get one to go along with my 1998 Cobra

Just purchased my '14 a month ago. Even after the '15 was revealed, I had no hesitation to purchase my baby. The new model doesn't have that stance that makes it a mustang. If you look at the front of my mustang, you know it is a mustang. This new model is just too fusion for me and the interior is busy for me. I like the simple clean lines in the current mustang. It's just my personal opinion but I am very happy with my 2014. When people say that the pictures don't do the new model justice. I look at pictures of all the current mustangs on here and I can't remember seeing a current generation mustang picture where it didn't look amazing.
