I like my '13 GT far more than the new model. With that said, my next sports car will probably be a vette again

Isn't it a bit odd the 2015 mustang v6 model will have 5 less hp and 10 less torque compared to the 11 to 14 models. The v6 is actually loosing power. I find that very strange. You would think the new v6 would be the same power or a few higher. Screwy.

My 2011 GT500 was a great car before the reveal...and still is after the reveal. No regrets here.

Hopefully my next addition will be a 427 Kirkham cobra.

I will take this over a 2015 any day of the week.....

I am still wiping the drool off my face from the pic MJJ posted. Sexy!

As for the '15, I don't love it and I don't hate it. Of course I say the same thing every time my favorite ponies are redesigned yet I always end up liking them eventually. I LOVE my '14 and hope to for many miles, although I am bad about not going much over 60 or 70k before trading. He is a base model v6 and I do hope to some day get a premium so I can have more bells and whistles but for the time being I am having fun with Blue. These are really amazing machines!

I've seen a few of those in the area Sean... Maybe you'll be another owner of those soon? I love those too. Those are kit cars right?

Krikham's are ordered with with options, hand built and delivered. All aluminum. Weigh around 2100lbs. ...The used car in the picture I posted is for sale at $115K.

The factory five is the likely kit car that you have seen. Those are 30-50K depending on quality and are generally assembled by their owners

Ah I see... I love those cars nonetheless, kit or real. 115k tho? Dang. That's steep. What engine do they drop in those?

C63 AMG FTW. It's about the only thing under 60k (used) that I'd consider replacing my GT with. As Jeremy from top gear put it "This thing is an axe murderer on wheels". I sold my triple black 911 4S Cabriolet to get my GT and don't miss the 997 at all. It certainly handled better but didn't put a smile on my face nearly as much as my savage rough around the edges GT does hehe.

Edit: Oh and 2015 boooo.

How do I feel about my 2013 after the reveal of the 2015?

The same way I feel about our 88GT after buying the 2013 GT500; I still love it. Just like how you don't stop loving your first child when your second child is born. Look how great they look together!

There is something special about each of our Mustangs. Is the 2015 enough to get me to sell one of our Mustangs? While I would be able to sell the 88, it would take something very significant to get me to sell our 2013 since it may be one of the rarest Shelbys built. Just the new model is not enough to get me to sell our GT500.

The fox is the most successful version of the Mustang to date. It had the longest run of all models. It was also the version of the Mustang that brought real performance back to the Mustang.

The 2013 GT500 is not only the 20th Anniversary of SVT, but it's also the Mustang with the highest torque & bhp released by an American manufacturer to date. It is also the first stock Mustang to break the 200mph barrier. Stock. Straight from the factory with no add-ons.

The 2015 Mustang has a lot of claims for improvement over the current model. And up to now, they are just claims. However, I do like a lot about the new car. Not enough to get me to run to the dealership and trade in our current Mustangs. But there may be enough to the new car to get us to add a 3rd Mustang to our stable. I really can't wait to see the new car & take it for a drive.

Ford hasn't announced any power numbers for the '15 cars...

Well that's great news. No idea where the 300 HP and 270 torque came from then. Perhaps I dreamt those numbers up. Lol

You're not losing your mind. I have heard those numbers too... at the very least, they seem to be the "common wisdom" but it's possible Ford will prove us all wrong.

Pretty much sums it up for me,
