When rented a SUV (Navigator) recently while the GT was in the shop, we all got REAL used to luxury inside. So next time I will probably save the pennies to get some more creature comfort!
That's exactly what I did too. I wanted a simple, fast muscle car I could track. I have a Base GT 6M and my only 2 options were the Track Pack (3.73s + Torsen, woohoo!) and Recaro seats

Is the top one the base V6 model? Lol. Seriously though, those two pictures together show exactly why I'm happy with my decision to order a 2014 GT/CS.

More on the line of the full independent suspension having a better ride and more control on bumpy roads and turns. As an example 2 curves I normally drive through; one has a smooth surface, and one has six bumps and a dip on the outside of the curve. My 2013 GT handles better through the smooth curve than the Subaru, because it has less body roll and a lower center of gravity and stays flatter than the subaru. In the bumpy curve the Subaru isn't bothered by the bumps and I can stay on the outside of the curve and take full advantage of the outside to negotiate the dip in the road. I can easily do 70 through this curve in the Subaru. In the GT I have to stay on the inside of the curve where the road is smoother and have room to recover in case the rear end looses traction. I'm driving on the edge to keep the GT between 65 and 70 in this curve. If the GT had full independent suspension I think I would have more control than the Subaru on the outside of the curve and negotiate the curve more efficiently.
Throw in the extra power of the 5.0, and negotiating turns would be awsome.

That is crazy how similar they look from the front. There's no doubt that the front end is the worst part about the new Mustang so far. I'm starting to like it more, but it's not my favorite. I still say it looks much more menacing if you get rid of the pony emblem in the grille.

But if you get rid of the pony emblem, how do you tell your car appart from a Fusion you parked next to?

Exactly! Imagine if Ford designers in '65 had the same degree of laziness and designed the Mustang with this front end...

There's nothing wrong with the Ford Fusion... but a Mustang isn't supposed to look like a Fusion!!! If they wanted to make a "radical departure from retro" for the 50th version of the Mustang, great- but at least put forth the effort to design something ORIGINAL!

have you all Forgotten about the 1980's?????????

the mustang and the escort looked almost identical. Hell I couldn't tell them apart if I saw one from the side half the time.

If you don't like the 2015, DON'T BUY ONE. If you're not buying one then quit whining about how much they look like a Fusion.

Bro , this isn't the 80's any more. What happen to moving forward. Ford doing what Ford did in the 80's now in 2015 is not moving forward. That's doing same old same old.

I'm actually not interested in making it be the 60's. Ford said they were going with a radical design. There is nothing racial about that design. Give me radical. Give me original. Give me moving forward and its a new era speech Ford and everybody spoke about.

You mention how back in the 80's decade Ford made the mustang look like other Ford models , which is correct. So let's now fast forward to the year 2014 and talk about the 2015 model. Oh look, 3 decades later , 30 years and Ford is still making the Mustang look like other models. At least the mid 90's to 2014 models didn't look like any other Ford models..Somebody may not like one of those generation stangs but at least the design was original and no mistaking those mustangs for any other model. Not even for 3 seconds did you think it was another car.

Yes, the 2015 is a really nice looking sports car. The Fusion is a really nice looking car. The Taurus is a really nice looking car. The Focus is a nice looking car. They all have the same corporate front look which is fine for all except the Mustang. That was supposed to be god like, radical and original design and its not even close to that.
