Ditto. That means I agree with "pass" (not getting one).
Had a Roush hood scoop on a 2005 F150. It never sealed clean enough, and trapped water in it from a rain or from washing. As soon as you began to drive off, the water trapped under the scoop would roll out and spray out on the windshield.
Plus, it's fake. Does not do anything but create a look.

I got lucky and found one on Craigslist that was already painted silver for $200. Install wasn't too bad. Most shops would probably charge about $100 to paint. If they are asking you to buy a quart of paint I would find another shop. Before I got the stripes I was just going to plastidip black. That could be another option to save cost. Mine is plastidipped to match my stripes.
I'll post some pics when I get to a computer

Definitely makes the hood look a lot meaner. The 13' hoods are pretty plain and boring. This adds a lot more aggression.

As for the tape that others were saying, this thing is not going anywhere. THe holes really hold it down. THe tape is just there to keep it down. I have not had any issues. Here is the scoop.

I bought the zigs painted spoiler on ebay for like $275 shipped...
4 holes to drill and tape...it is not moving. It says it is the OEM ford style scoop for the 10-12 models, but fit the 13 and 14 just fine. (mine is obviously a 13). I was waiting for American Muscle to come out with one...I was told in June of 2012 they had one "in the works"..fast forward almost a year and still nothing. So about a month ago I bought this one. I wanted the Roush one, but was not going to pay that price for something that look 95% like the one I bought.
Had a shaker on my 08 GT/CS...HATED IT. Looked great, but constantly rubbed plastic on hood to plastic on CDC engine shroud. Was not impressed.
Personally I love the look.
