First 2009 Mustang Spy Shots!
I cannot see the Mustang getting 'redesigned' anytime soon on a new platform/underpinning. The D2C chassis will be 5 years old at that point, and is miles ahead of its old 25 year fairmont underpinnings.
Unless for whatever unknown reason... a newer more cost effective chassis is in the works

Both the Interceptor and MKR concepts are based off a stretched D2C platform However, if either one of these vehicles ever make it to production ? Ford will somehow have to base the production version upon a revised D2C platform like a D4S sedan version

It's not going to happen, Ford has confirmed time and time again the 2010 re-fresh will evolve it's current retro theme by updating to more of a modern and aggressive design such as the front and rear end sections getting face lifts while also adding (hips) to the quarter panels.. However only the current S-197 greenhouse will carry over and remain unchanged..

What's there an echo in here ? or is this just a different interpretation of what I previously posted concerning the current S-197 greenhouse remaining unchanged on the upcoming 09/10 refresh
