Dynoing my bone stock 2011 V6
I'm sure low-end torque from the SC V6 is better than the 3.7L. That could certainly account for some of it.
Torque and weight differences are tiny.
The real difference is in the gearing.
With no other changes to the Mustang, changing the rear end to the 3.73 gears will drop the Mustang into the 13.7 range in the 1/4 mile. 4.11 gears will bring it into the 13.6 and maybe a high 13.5.
Hello guys, I have a 2011 mustang v6 with 3.73 gears and a Diablosport inTune i1000 running 91 octane tune. My question and issues are, does anyone have or know where I can find the parameter settings for a stock tune 2011 v6 because I updated my inTune and now I believe it has different parameter settings. I believe it has the settings for a GM vehicle and it continues to put my car in safety mode every so often. Gives me different error codes and no one seems to know what is going on with it.
Error codes: P0297 - vehicle overspeed condition; P2111 - throttle actuator control system stuck open; P2112 - throttle actuator control system stuck closed
