Deflating/Inflating tires... Risk of breaking seal?
And yet the idiots that need them still don't use them/ignore them. "Oh that light, yeah it's been on for a few weeks". Well you're gonna need a new tire you ruined it by driving on it while it was flat
Or they come in freaking out about the light on, on their dash. "I haven't driven the car for a week because I didn't know what the light was"...(sigh) you could've just stopped at a gas station and put 2 lbs of air in your tire and it would've went off smh

That was mostly what I was worried about, breaking the bead. As for the sensors that I have, it's not because it's losing communication with the car, it's because it has never been married yet. Apparently it goes to sleep when it's unmarried and doesn't receive a signal back. Thing of it is though, is that this is a specific brand feature. From what I understand, there are other brands of sensors out there that continually emit RF signals or get triggered on by rotation of the tires. However, those brands will have much less battery life then this orotek brand does.
. Far less pressure gain across cold/hot cycles.John
+1 on the nitrogen. My dad put that into his tacomas tires in 09. Hes inly been back once because he ran over a nail so he got the tire patched and refilled.
