been tracking my car through the rail company..

hasn't moved in since July 1.

i'm getting antsy..

 

Will tomorrow be the big day?! Supposedly United Road has my car (has had it since Friday) so it *may* show up at the dealer tomorrow. I drove by United Road in Romulus, MI and saw a bunch of car haulers loaded up (6 or 7 of them). They had all sorts of different vehicles on them and due to the way they were parked I couldn't see if my car was on one of them or not. I'm driving myself crazy!!!

 

Anyone heard from Jokerstars ! Has he been kidnapped or something, or maybe he's interned someplace.
I'm really worried for him.

 

Maybe his car arrived and he is finally speachless.

 

Was in Boston for a few days. Man, what a nice city. Not like DC where I think crazy homeless minorities are going to stab me in the eyeball while mumbling about the Kennedy assassination.

Still no car. Last I heard it was in Ohio on Jul 2. Could be in Jessup by now if trains ran during the weekend/holiday.

Does anyone know if CSX trains move during the weekend/holidays? If my car's already in Jessup I could get the call any day now!

I just got off the phone with customer service and they gave me an ETA of 8/4. So to recap order entered on 6/21, VIN issued on 7/2 and ETA of 8/4. However, neither Ford customer service nor my dealer could provide me with a build date. Both of their answers was that it was being built.

Ford CS also told me that nothing showed up in their system about the $750 private offer in the brochure being extended. They said that the dealer will have more information than them on any time extensions. Mine has an expiration date of 7/17. My dealer is going to check today to see if Ford would reimburse them if they applied the credit at time of delivery.

 

My dealer just replied back and confirmed the same thing others on the forum have been saying that the private offer (Mine at least) is extended through 9/1/2010.

Nothing. I plan to call this evening. I know Pony Racer has had his car sitting on a railcar for over a week now with no status updates. Hope that doesn't happen to me!

Man the last time i was in DC there were rats the size of small dogs running around in the parking lot where i had parked to walk around the mall area, in broad daylight. I was scared they would chew on my tires!
