people dont know what is going on. I will go inspect my car that was built 4/13 tonight and
pick it up if all is well. All these delays has somewhat soured my excitement....I assume
that will change as soon as I lower the top and fire it up.
My GT was built on 4/13 as well. I picked it up Saturday and have had no issues so far. I'm not expecting any, but just thought I'd throw that out there.

The delays drove me nuts, as my car was delivered last week, but in the end, all of that went away the second I started my Mustang for the first time. I've had a smile on my face all **** weekend.

I don't think that's a valid VIN (last 6) . . . We're seriously not up to 525,409 2011 Mustangs. Perhaps you transposed the first two numbers since I'm 99.9% sure the 7th digit from the end is a 5.

So you're good for a window sticker now too? That would be excellent.

Just called Ford CS. They claimed my car was "in production" but said they had no ETA and that I should contact my dealer.

Jonny says my ETA is June 14 though, so maybe they're lying to me? Yar.

"Contact your dealer" is the party line as of about 2.5 weeks ago.

I think Ford CS got all their database privileges cut, so all they can get is the car's status now. Either that, or someone up high told them to stop giving info out.

My car was built 4/13, first ETA of 4/30, bumped back to 5/6 and still showed that date when it was delivered on 5/25. The delivery seems to be about a month behind for most people on here. Hopefully they're getting caught up and those shipping times will come down.

I think so also. And it has been made clear at the dealership lol. The same guy I bought my Bullitt from heard the tone of my voice when I said the window sticker said front bracker and assured me no bracket, frame or any stickers would be put on it lol. He said you want it clean just like the Bullitt and i said yep.

Dealer will get a call when car is finished and should call you with an ETA.

Um, no. AAI does not call every dealer for every car and let them know it was built. It's incumbent upon the dealer/fleet manager/inventory manager to check.

VIN 125477

BTW: 125477 will be a GT500 Convertible, SVT PP, Electronics Package in Sterling Grey with the Red Stripes..............you know, the color that noone likes......................except me.

Managed to find a dealer that let me have it for under M.S.R.P.

Just an update (and why I haven't updated the list recently) . . . I'm working on a method for aggregating production information into a nice little report that tells us how many of each model (coupe, convertible, GT, V6, GT500) are being made and how many "missing" VINs there are.

Settle down, your going to drive yourself nuts! Hang in there, the car will show up and you won't have time to do your report, you will be driving it all the time.
CS sent me an email yesterday telling me that they checked into where my car was and found out I had picked it up last Friday! I guess if you wait long enough they will give you the answer you want!
Good luck
Tom
