smike, I can take some pics a little later today. Not sure why I haven't already, lol!

Here's a couple of photos. The pipe tips sit around 4 inches from the ground. Things can get a little ugly on speed bumps and steep driveways. For the most part they are okay.

You can see in the second photo, the convertible brace bolt head the is hitting. I didn't want to remove the bolt, so I snagged the pipe as best I could.

gMan-- thanks for posting the pictures. It looks like those wind deflectors in front of the rear tire are about the same height from the ground as the outlet. I'm going to have to measure clearance at the end of my driveway to see just how much wiggle room I have. One more ?, could you use another washer or two in your spacers to eliminate the contact with that bolt head? Thanks again!

I tried adding washers, but the flexible accordion tube section of the side pipe just flexes and the pipe still hits, but the outlet twists more. There may be a better way to bolt it up if you experiment with it.

I over simplified the mounting in my mind. Thanks.

Well I think I jinxed my car. Did a little spirited start from a stop light over the memorial day weekend. Wife was not happy with me, and neither was the car.

Gradually increasing weird noise was coming from the passenger side just between the door and the rear wheel. As we drove it just kept getting worse. A very loud rattle, not sure if that is what you were experiencing last year, but I am now. Isolated it down to the side pipe. So I pulled the side pipe off at the mount and found the rubber grommet was torn about 3/4 the way around. Not sure if the quick start caused the tear or if it already was there from the dealer install and the launch just opened it up. Re-seated as a temporary fix.

Found an online Ford dealer with an ok price and no shipping with a minimum purchase. So I ordered 4 grommets, a few for the future. Let you know how this turns out.
