I won the auction!!!! I'm so incredibly happy! I guess the next step is shipping and I'll get someone to pick it up for free in late Janurary when they come back from Arizona

glad you love the sound and I can't wait for mine. I'm thinking that I'm going to install the QTP cutouts for those early mornings. I was thinking of getting the control plate from "Speed of sound"

I just saw this for the 05 - 10 GTs. I wonder if they will be coming out with a set for the 2014s?

I've wondered if someone had THIS set,
Or the 11-14 GT500 set, how much fabrication would be needed to get it to fit.
Example: I paid $1200 for mine that I know fits the 11-14 GT.
Could I buy the GT500 instead and swap the cats and then it would fit? I'm not exactly sure how it all works.
They reDy had that for the 11-14 mustangs. I've wondered if someone had THIS set, Or the 11-14 GT500 set, how much fabrication would be needed to get it to fit. I'm glad you got one, I wish you didn't have to pay the scarcity tax.

If you are reading this thread and haven't read the install instructions, you should do so, it add to the clarity.
Helpful hint: type into Google something like "M-5220-MB type
df". Do this also for the part number you are going to substitute and see what the install differences are.
If you have the side pipes any exhaust shop can do it. Since the hpipe is just a stock one with the flanges added. Here's a post from svtp with some good pics http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...302-side-pipes
Kind of expensive but found this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mustang-Boss...T/321630600223

I will have to follow with something in the spring. To be continued...
This thread has reignited my desire for side pipes. I've always been a fan of side exhaust, and when I first ordered my car, I had plans for the Boss quads, until I found Solo and wanted that sound. But now, I'm considering picking up the Kooks side pipes and having them fabbed up with my current catback...

-Next up, boss side exhaust. I was interested in the boss H-pipe with kooks side exhaust. I just didn't want to be forced to have to use long tube headers with the kooks set up.
-Track key after the spring (just for the lopey idle) -Then, after a few weeks of restrictor plates in and out, I MIGHT go with QTP electronic cutouts. I was interested in other options too; such as the GT500 dual axle backs. Or maybe a full car back exhaust with the side pipes added on. (Right now it looks like Flowmaster is the only company that makes an aftermarket off the shelf exhaust system that incorporates the side pipes)
A lot of people especially those with more experience than me are properly thinking "you're wasting your time and money!" Or "get a full cat-back and be done with it"
I'm all about taking whatever advice I can get, that being said I'm still young and still learning! I love pouring through all the different exhaust systems and seeing the different Frankenstein systems people have made.
One guy on youtube has a Steeda cai, bbk cat delete, mrt 3'' boss h pipe, kooks side pipes, and jegs axle back mufflers. and a steeda 93 cam tune for the h pipe.
Check it out. Just search "Mrt kooks side exhaust" That's on a 2012 5.0. I just want that true muscle car sound! Which I think I'd need bigger cams for? Or at least a cam tune. Maybe lose the cats I don't know.
I just know that when I watch videos of late 60's and 70's muscle cars rolling through car shows they sound unbelievably great. I know they have big blocks and I don't. They have straight pipes and I don't. They have cams and I don't. But I'd like to get close to that.
