I agree. On a side note, I couldn't help but notice a similarity between the sound of the GT350 at the recent show and the sound these pipes make. I am wondering if they are switching manufacture to a model compatible with the S550.

Wow, this thing is disappearing quickly now. Went to the TASCA site to purchase and it is gone. So are a lot of the lower priced sites. Ford Racing Direct is very proud of their last one. They want $1299 now, when it was $795.

If you want one better act quickly.

Any one seen any deals below the $795 price?

Got last one from a Dealer out of Minnesota. Thought maybe they were selling me wrong part when they quoted me the price! Asked them to verify part number to be sure.

I went to the Tasca site a few minutes ago and it now shows with an 'Add to Cart' button. Previously the link that follows resulted in "item not found" or something to that effect. I'm not sure this really means they have more.

I've noticed that the Ford Racing page is back as well. It was 404 for a while. Good sign?

No problem. I'm in for one as well. Luckily my wife was OK with it. I'll update as soon as I see confirmation that it actually ships. My last order from Tasca was quick. I ordered on Sunday and received on Tuesday although I am only one state away.

I've been dealing with Shelby store and ford racing parts, trying to ****** up the last one.
I was willing to pay the $1300 though. I'll find out tomorrow morning when it ships to my local ford dealer.

Wtf?? Dude just buy the Kooks one or MRT! They're so much better than the Ford Racing one anyways!

That's kinda the advice I was hoping for. At $7-800 the boss exhaust was awesome. At $1125 plus $150 shipping.... Maybe I should re-think other possibilities?

Does Kooks or MRT actually make side pipes though? All I've seen are the mid-pipes and those are about what the Ford Racing one costs all together.

The Kooks mid pipe is $735, and sidepipes $550, retail. From Hypermotive. You wouldn't actually pay that, but I sure as hell wouldn't pay the equivalent for the FRPP piece. I'd still save up and pay more for the Kooks. The Boss pipes just look so wimpy to me, even if it does sound good. My Solo exhaust is 3" from the cats back, and it looks beefy. I love it! I wish I could have the side pipes too though.

For that price, I guess I'd go with the Kooks too. I didn't get it for performance though.

Yeah I hear ya, I'm sure most got it for the sound too. I couldn't spend that much for just sound though. I'd need it to have a performance benefit over stock.
