Compete with the Z06? You do know that the Vette is about $20,000 more than a GT500 right now! Let me ask you, have you driven a GT500 yet? If not, go drive one before you talk trash about it. Better yet, ask ANY owner of a Evolution tuned GT500 how they like their car? My good friend I sold our last 2008 GT500 to, he got it tuned at EVO! He got both pullies done, CAI, reflash, UCA/LCAs done, 305 M/T drag radials on custom widened SVT wheels. Car puts down approximately 615 to the tires and car is INSANE!! All for just a few thousand bucks!!! You can't compare the 2 cars. Totally different market.

I have driven multiple GT500s Z06s Roushs Saleens you name it! All I am saying is where is the power Ford? It is so ridiculous that there is no Ford at all in production now that competes stock with really anything in the market...if you recall, they matched the Shelby GT WITH AN STI? UM A 4cyl! Can't anyone see that Ford is absolutely ridiculous right now? Why cant they make a Focus with 300hp? Instead, we have a V8 with 300 HP...
