The transparency i was referring to was not an intended knock on Deysha. As far as im concerned she has been very helpful. In fact the most helpful source of informatation ive found anywhere. But if you think the ordering process of a gt500 through your local ford dealer is transparent......????

Deysha
The dates changed a little, Crusty_2014_GT500_Conv.. It should be up by Friday.
I sent you a PM, J_D.
I’ll respond to your PM as soon as possible, tukatz.
You’re welcome! Getting closer.

Welcome to the forum and congrats, Royer951! I’ll get back to your PM soon.
Hmmmmm… I’m thinking about it…. LOL!

I must say, this ordering process without the incredible support of Deysha would of been rough. Once again Deysha you came through and THANK YOU!
2014 Ordered/Built/Delivered
So excited for my new Mustang to finally arrive! I originally ordered a 2013 on October 20th, but my order got changed to a 2014. I got my window sticker on 1/30. My build date is 2/4 and expected delivery 2/17. The fact that I have waited for 4 months for my new ride has only made me more excited to get her!
Still having a little anxiety over trading in my faithful 2002 GT.

Definitely true. Dealers have a lot of cost involved in a trade-in above what they pay you for it, and they still want to make a profit when they sell it. I am selling my '07 Honda S2000 rather than trading it in for that very reason. I know I'll get a good price for it because I can afford to wait for the good weather to bring out the convertible buyers. My only cost to wait for my price is the insurance on the S2000.
Ya my trade-in is going to be painful. I'm trading a 2013 mustang with 17k miles on it already for this 2014. They have brand new 2013 with no miles for nearly what I still owe haha. It'll be worth it tho!
Finally got the salesman to confirm the VIN and order# that Deysha sent me earlier this week. ETA of Feb 21, subject to change of course. Now I'll have to try and make sure they don't drill hole in front bumper for license bracket. Maybe they'll let me get there when it arrives and let me take the bracket away. Assuming the factory doesn't install it.

I figured it was a dealership installed item. I'm gonna tell my salesman the same thing. Although I'm paranoid they'll do it anyways for some reason.
